  2. Click on the Publish button
  3. Choose an ad package and duration
  4. Click on the Confirm button and then go through the payment process if applicable

Before you publish your ad you will need to verify your identity and provide proof of ownership of the property.

Verifying Identity

You can verify your identity by using our instant ID verification powered by Equifax. Go the My Profile page and click on the Verify ID button.

Alternatively, you can add a scanned PDF of photographic ID such as a driving licence or passport to your profile page.

Verifying Ownership

We ask you to verify your ownership of a property to ensure that you are authorised to let the property.

Please upload a PDF copy of a proof of ownership document that shows both the owner and property details. We can accept the following documents:

  • Property title document
  • Current landlord insurance certificate
  • Recent mortgage statement
  • Copy of the lease

If you need to, you can get the property title information from the Land Registry here:

We will verify your ownership document(s) as soon as we can. You will receive an email notification when your document(s) have been verified.

Convert Photos to PDF

If you have a photo of your documents, you can convert it to a PDF document using this site:

Standard Ad Package

If you choose our Standard ad package then your ad will appear on Mudhut, Rightmove and our advertising partners for the duration of your ad package.

We send your ad to Rightmove immediately and you can find a link to your ad on your Manage Ad page.

We send ads to our other advertising partners every evening so it will usually appear within 1 business day. Sometimes it takes a little longer because some of the sites feed off each other.

Unpublish Your Ad

You can unpublish your ad by clicking on the Unpublish button from the Manage Ad page.

Property Listing Checks

Property listings will be reviewed before they are published to allow us to verify that the listing is legitimate.

Listing content will be automatically filtered to remove phone numbers, email addresses, website links and domain names and moderators will check the listing and ensure that appropriate language is used to describe the property.

Contact details are not permitted in the listing or within images.

Before marketing a property, the owner must ensure:

  • England, Wales and Ireland - an Energy Performance Certificate is in place
